Thank you very much to those that pledged their support for Bearded Vultures and Rhino last week. The initial tally from pledges for the Rhino Peak Challenge stands at about R300 000 raised for the two projects. These funds will go a long way to achieving our aims in the Captive Breeding Programme and your support is greatly appreciated.

Message from Dr Sonja Kruger who took part in the challenge:

“It was a tough walk up Rhino Peak with very strong winds all the way. On my way up I was cursing Beardeds that nest in such remote and inaccessible places, but I guess that’s what keeps them safe; and your support of the work we do makes the continuous struggle to conserve them worthwhile.”
