Satellite Tracked Vulture Movements 17 – 24 August 2020

The latest movements of our Bearded Vultures; Jeremia and Mollie and our Cape Vulture; N207, for the past week, that are fitted with satellite transmitters and included in our monitoring program.

Please also find some new photos from our Nest Camera, including a lovely photo of the chick being fed and one with both adults on the nest.

In the lead-up to International Vulture Awareness Day on 5 September 2020, we have linked to an article to remind us of The Importance of Vultures in Our Environment.

If you manage a vulture supplementary feeding site (restaurant) or live near one, please consider taking part in Vulture Count Day on 5 September where we count all vultures and other raptors/scavengers at vulture restaurants from 07h00 – 14h00.
