Satellite Tracked Vulture Movements 29 March – 05 April 2020

The latest movements of our Bearded Vultures; Jeremia and Mollie and our Cape Vulture; N207, for the past week, that are fitted with satellite transmitters and included in our monitoring program.

Our two Bearded Vultures and our Cape Vulture are still doing well and preparing for the next breeding season. Hopefully Mollie will have found a mate and start breeding for the first time. He has been holding a territory for some time now. Our Cape Vulture continues to undertake long forays across the Eastern Cape province. Jeremia, our female is breeding on the Amphitheatre and appears to have two mates! We saw three adults sitting at the nest in our surveys this past year.
